So, after an accident involving the background, I discovered that I actually REALLY love working with autumn colors! So I chose to do the background in purely autumn hues of color and I really enjoyed the look of it in contrast with 's character, Skye. She was absolutely loads of fun to draw! Her neon blue hair was just beautiful!

With this, I chose to do a couple new things. I chose to try blending my shadows a lot more in some parts of the image. I changed the eye style very slightly, and I actually really enjoyed trying that new style! I also have never worked much with a themed/specific colored background before, so sticking with solely autumn colors was really cool to practice! I also created a couple patterns in the background by hand and brush. I also haven't actually tried doing an in-doors scene either!

Honestly, this took hours upon hours of experimentation and effort and I learned a lot and really enjoyed it! I've also learned how to fix and correct my layers more on my drawing programs, and learned I should actually have way more layers than i'm used to having for things lol.
