This is what happens when you commit a vile act in the eyes of Valtz. Ivy had been harbouring a criminal and had the nerve of attacking Valtz when he confronted her about it. Ivy is usually an intelligent Snivy but it was obvious she needed to be educated and learn of her true place. The criminal was her husband, Darkening, who was still undergoing education to become an upstanding citizen in the eyes of Master Valtz.
Ivy now knows of her proper place – an obedient servant to Master Valtz. She should consider herself fortunate she has such a caring and forgiving Master.
