In this particular drawing, I wanted Joshlafina to be sad. I don't know for sure why I wanted her sad. I wasn't sad at the time of drawing this. I just wanted to explore a little bit more of her personality. That's all. My early days as an artist, I colored in the ears with pink and flesh tone. At the time, I just thought ears looked like that. I know better now. I wanted more than just tears coming from the eyes. With the way I added color to her eyes, she looks traumatized. The whole circular head thing, I can't believe I used to draw like that. At the time of shading this, all I had available to me was a 2b pencil. I couldn't shade the drawing the way I would have liked to. I really wish I could have been better at the tail prior to drawing this.
