It's always hard to lose a ferret. My oldest right now is 8 , and he's got that old man walk and everything , but I lost one several years ago to adrenal gland disease. It took us so long to find out what was wrong , and by the time we did , we couldn't do anything but put him down. It broke my heart. These little guys really do leave paw prints on your heart
