any rate, here's Professor Maggie Drake (first pass on the design). In Happenstance, she's one of the instructors at the Champion's Academy (it's basically a tech school to help people live with powers). Her dual emphasis are training how to train (i.e. management supervision), as well as the target range / inner focus.

unofficially, she's the resident "nonchalant sexy teacher" on campus.
