I had to rush this one, not much time for corrections.
Background is a paintover of one of my own photos.
There was that one time where the great Seer allowed himself to be held at knifepoint by a little girl. When the universe reveals its will to you, as Gadeth is sure it does to him frequently, you don't question what shape it takes. Before disarming her effortlessly, he lets her explain. Turns out the little mutt tries to force the renowned senator to help her out of the Ordo Solis Ferrei by shutting it down. I mentioned them before... pseudo-fascist forbidden Seeing order that experiments with appalling stuff and that also relentlessly tramples on the weak. Gadeth has his own ideas what strength is and what the strong are allowed to do with the weak-minded, but he wants a foot in the door with the order. So as usual he's all smiles and taking-you-seriously and understanding. Once inside, he just lets loose all the psychopathic manipulation tactics he knows. He strings everyone along, makes their leader his bitch basically without him even noticing, has a good laugh about it and in the end when they're no longer useful to him, rids the world of them in a huge bloodbath. The ones who try to escape instead of fight get picked off by the Order of the Full Moon and Naran waiting outside. But yep... for a little while he pretended to be helping and friendly to her. Geez, people, stop trusting that evil creature! That's basically the point of the whole thing, to drive home the fact how little morale he has.

Hm, no, not really. I started in the middle when I started drawing these guys again and then just added my ramblings here and there. That sadly means ramblings and explanations are more plentiful on the older, worse drawings. XD
Generally: It plays in a distant future / alternative earth. No hoominz anymore, just two races of artificial beings. The more animal-resembling ones, and the pointy ears ones. They got along most of the time, now they don't. That's the fault of the guy with the triangles, who maneuvered himself into dictatorial power during a time of political crisis, and who is a kind of evil genius to everyone's misfortune. The more urban setting is with those people and their intrigues. The other setting is the frontier, where it mostly focuses on the anthro characters that have their own, older chapter of the story. And of course Tani, the white-haired earless guy who once had command of the invasion force but then messed up and got demoted. Some of the people on both sides are skilled in using - for the sake of simplicity let's call it - new-age-like magic, which is fueled by the Earth, the universe, what will you. ^^
This pic here is during the time when Gadeth, with the triangles, is still doing his maneuvering, most if not all of the other pics are set later.
