Well it's mostly because of her one time appearance in the show, but seeing her get notoriety and other appearances in their comics shows her popularity among "Rescue Ranger" fans.
Afterwards whenever I saw artwork of her, via NSFW pieces, it just made her go from cute favored character to attractive batgirl for me. There's no one single piece that made this so but there was a BBMBBF one with her and Dale that was pretty awesome. Don't know where to find it today though.
