This and the companion image "Fish on Friday" came after learning
more about Andrew Wyeth. These two images are about that kind of
setting of place and mood that I felt from his work, using my limited
technique at the time.

One of my faves of yours. Lovely straitforward piece, very atmospheric, all strongly yellow=farming. reminds me of Van Gogh's "The Reaper', a painting he did when he was at the hospital at st. remy, of a farmer threshing wheat with a scythe, the sun coming up, everything bright and summerly.
