Silit was abandoned by tribe before naming day because of scales. Pink not proper color for kobold, not so easy to hide and ambush. Master was elf alchemist, found Silit, took in, gave name. Master make special arrangements; Silit get ingredients, make things with alchemy, Master take coin for things, Silit get bread. Until short time ago, Silit never eat meat. Just bread, mushroom and berry.

"One day, Master tell Silit to give vial, but not tell which vial. When Silit try to ask, he call by longname, which mean he angry, so Silit give vial. Master drank vial, then slumped over, spit up bunch of red stuff and die. Silit read notes, see why Master is no more. Master wanted H2O and got H2SO4. Silit not actually know what those are, Master was strange elf. Silit took over shop, but since Master not around to take coin, Silit just take bread instead. Not eat gold or silver, so Silit not take.

"Now Silit is on great adventure with new friends. Packed up everything Silit need onto Donkey and go to stop bandits and explore. Hmm? What is Donkey's name? Donkey is Donkey. Silit not bother naming something that not going to come when Silit call. That just silly. Silit hopes to learn many new things while on adventure, bring new recipes back home. Or maybe make new home, not know yet. Silit does know there are tasty things friends call 'moon radishes' out there, much better than bread.Awful lot of other kobolds nearby, though. Silit wonders why..."
