It nearly took half the year but it's finally complete.
My new PC rig is setup and running (And about damn time too), weighting in at a hefty size sporting a Intel i7 Quad Core Processor, armed with a 6 gig memory of RAM and equipped with a Geforce Gtx video card. With a Terabyte of disk space. And lets not forget it's packing a fully loaded 64x Vista Ultimate package to boot !
So I decided to make a quick pic of it's dark holy glory and to at least get back in gear with art now that my System problems are over with. Heh, it even runs OC 1.1 and 4.5 without any issue too !
Enjoy.

Thats pretty similar to the system I had planed to build before I realized I didn't have any way of getting the parts. Where I live there are very limmited choices in computer parts, and ordering them wasn't an option.
So I just completely overhauled my P4 3.2ghz Prescott HT. New case and all. Pretty much a new computer completely around the old CPU. It's not top of the line, but it does what I need it to, so it's good enough for now.
My next computer will have a budget of at least $5000, twice that if I can manage to save alot.
I don't upgrade often, about every five years if I have to. So my next computer is going to be built to last and perform well for as long as possible.

Hehe, Antec 900 eh? A very nice choice indeed. Nice build and congrats on the completion of your new system. Hand built PC's are the best kind :D
I'd had my fill of mid-tower cases after my first hand-built system (Apevia X-Cruiser case) and made a personal oath to never go back to them. When I saw the Antec 1200, I fell in love with it instantly, even if it is on the heavy side... (35 pounds alone!)
Inside of my 1200, I've got an AMD Phenom X4 9950 cooled by a Zalman Heatsink with Arctic Silver 5, an MSI DKA790GX Platinum motherboard, 8GB of Corsair Dominator DDR2 @ 1066, 1.32 (raw) Terabytes worth of HDD storage spanned across three disks, with an ATi HD Radeon 3870 - all powered by a 750W Zalman powersupply. Packing Win XP 32bit, Ubuntu 64 bit, Win Vista 64 bit (thats goin' bye bye soon), and Win 7 RC 64 bit. Overkill on the OS's right? XD
Add to it, I've got one of those NZXT LCD Panel fan controllers that only controls my Zalman Heatsink's fan XD. Sure it was 80 bucks, but I wanted something relatively similar to my old Socket 939 Abit Motherboard's uGuru panel. Plus I'm crazy. I think I'll upload a piccy of it sometime to my gallery, provided I ever get around to it.
I'm waiting to see what AMD wants to do with their AM3 socket before I figure out what kinda upgrade scenario I'm going to place myself in, but once the Radeon 5XXX series hits (rumors for July/August), thats at the top of my list for snatching :3
Also, ya drew the Antec 900 perfectly. Hehe.
