I love what long exposures do to clouds at night with the moon behind them. :) Great shot! And yeah, I'd be lamenting the porch too ;)

With the long exposure, the clouds and the moon look fantastic - as RoninOtter already said. Really helps the cross to pop.
I'm not sure how to feel about the porch. On one hand, it does screw with the symmetry. On the other hand, it gives the light a lot of surfaces to play off of, so there's plenty of contrast and some very interesting shadows.

I hate it when there's an otherwise awe-inspiring image that's thrown off by something in the way (and that can't be shot around)... still, it's a dazzling pic even with the porch in it.
One has to wonder what Jesus might have thought of his own personal torture instrument/method of execution being turned into a pretty, illuminated beacon.
