“Imagine if things had been... different...”

Sigfried and Kascata, how they are right now at the right and how they could have been at the left...

Kascata was born a felixin (anthropomorphic-cat-like aliens) but was transformed into a homunculus (goat-people) by a group of deviants, scarring her forever and negating her the life she was supposed to have, after all, homunculi are slaves for the felixin... She could have grown into a happier, sexier and taller cat-girl

Sigfried lost a leg to the dark spirits, things that feed on negativity, and through the wound, the infected him with a terminal incurable magical disease that makes him creepy to most people and will kill him faster any time he feels negative emotions. This and many oher things, just increased his determination to fulfill his ultimate dream: free the world of such horrors and the aliens which brought them... If things had been a little different, Sigfried could have been a way more heroic man, more intereseted in helping civilization through inventive and some much needed heroics instead of making dark plots...
