Yes, this is something I actually quite want to do is start my own comic series based off the Splendimal universe. Still kind of beefed about seeing big fat villains in media, and I want to show that having a large protagonist and smaller antagonists can still make a good story. ...Although the villains will all be a mix of skinny and fat villains, though most of the larger characters will be goodguys.
This cover shows the main hero in the front, a prehensile-tailed porcupine named Spike who's been sent on a mission to investigate the Splendimal homeworld in search of evil motives, where he discovers a whole world of creatures, some very good and friendly, others hostile and murderous, but ultimately: he has no idea what he will find there. In the back is the two homeworlds, the Splendimal World being the larger one. The walrus head is, of course, Rohal: God of the Poles, a creature who comes up a lot in the first chapter, but doesn't see much screen time till later in the story. On his right is the Porcupine's master, a Capybara who sent the Porcupine on his mission to scope out the Splendimal Homeworld. It is unclear what his motives is, but true to the face of a Capybara, he's cold and carefree.
Don't worry, I'm still working on the RPG. This is just a side project.
