My mom's usually the cat person and I get kittens come from hers. But this cat was given from a neighbor, who said something rude like "Im gonna put him in a cat food bag and throw him away". The family didnt like him because he was orange and the others were spotted black/white etc, some dumb dislike and my mom made sure to rescue him asap. Even if she was kidding about the bag part, mom wasnt taking chances.
