...I feel like this page would make more sense if we heard a few paragraphs earlier in the conversation.
Also, while it was foolish of me to think they were traveling lite just because there hasn't been any indication of gear other than the cloths on their back up until now... how are they storing it all in Riley's cloak? That onion back is almost as tall as Gene is. Even my sense of disbelief is broken trying to imagine that being the same cloak Riley was wearing earlier.
