I'm new to line work. Here's what I do in photoshop, at least. Sketch 1 is from my head, Sketch 2 uses Sketch 1 as reference, Sketch 3 traces sketch 2, and then colors using regular painting methods.

Likewise! I find looking at the sketches that artists do is far more helpful than their final pieces when all that stuff is usually buffed out.

That is cool to see how your fox evolves.

Ive always had a hard time with drawing.... I know, practice makes perfect, but its hard to motivate myself

some artists actually work that way, from concept to refinery, and why not. it's the result that counts. :)

also it's not like traditional art linework sketchign works that much differently. so, there. :)

Reading that response it sounds like I made an argument to the contrary! I'm just showing how I do this particular thing. It might change over time. People have been asking for how I do the stuff.
