a lot of the lines on this are pretty rough but this is more of a proof of concept than anything else really
I'm going to work more on the head design as a separate piece and as I flesh the design out more in general I'll have more background for the character itself
also used some vectors on this, not a lot, just a little to play around with them
I've never really used them before accept for what little I did with them back when I was still using Illustrator
I'll probably use them on stuff now
you guys can probably tell that this is very heavily inspired by a few things
a little Daft Punk here, a little Scandroid there, some
fluff-kevlar somewhere in the middle
I could go on but you guys get the idea
edit: I've decided against the idea of bio-mechanical so this reference will be put into scraps when I make an updated version

I see we had the same idea with the face but not much else, accept for maybe white
malice-risu design is very feral in comparison, hard to say it's the same thing
to be honest I'm glad you showed me this, I was unaware of this person until now, I'll be able to make changes so we don't have anymore of this species confusion nonsense
though I suppose the real debate here would be if species applies to something that is robotic, that sure would be a neat one

yeah looking strictly at the head, we probably like the same things
though I gotta say, the axolotl/sergal look that malice-risu went with is way cooler than the wolf base I went with, though it could just be my bias to dislike my own work XD

She has 2 different styles, the longer one is s resitricted speices and then she has Protogens, which are free to use :)

yeah I was just going with that robot dog toy from the 90s in combination with the quarian helmet, and some plating stuff from Zoids that kinda made it look like a flower, and neon designs from Scandroid album artwork along with various stuff out of the synth/retro wave genres, and the ears are just big dumb bastardizations of ARAs ears, and the blue is the same blue that I use for the interface on my Lemurs
basically this whole design is an 80s retro future sifi robot
now that I'm seeing that hers are for the most part organic creatures I'm glad I decided that the legs didn't need to be organic and went with a fully synthetic being
