The New Life of Dasyk Turman
A TF commission for 
Lustrian featuring a Human turning into a Trandoshan (alien species from the Star Wars universe!)

"Dasyk Turman was not having a good day. Or a good year, for that matter. His already hefty debt to the Hutt crimelord had only gotten bigger, and he was forced to go into hiding. That meant that he was the most over-qualified warehouse laborer in the system. The pay was nothing, the conditions were horrible, and the place smelled like a sewer. Still, it was better than recieving the tender ministrations of an angry Hutt. That all changed when, after a very hard night of drinking, he accidentally cracked open a crate in the warehouse, causing strange cannisters to spill out. One broke open, leaking a glowing green liquid everywhere. It got all over him as he tried to clean it up. In no time, the substance started changing him. In minutes, he went from a human to a Trandoshan. At first, the experience was traumatizing. Later, he realized that his debt to the crimelord was over. There was no trace of the human he had been. He did have to get new ID cards, as well as come up with a whole new identity. He took the Trandoshan name Hrraska, and has never looked back. He didn't care about finding out what that cannister had, or who made it. He was happy with his new reptilian life, and had no intention of ever turning back."

Space lizards are a fantastic thing to become! Get me some cannisters from that crate to be careless with!! :D
I don't really remember this race from the movies (it's been a while since I last saw these), but googling it reveals that they were more a part of the expanded universe anyway? Which is relieving because it means that dementia hasn't struck me totally yet. *g*
