I bet The Bolts made a deal with Bapho too, and since it's impossible for both bands to be the best, Bau's band will lose and they'll be free from the deal since they are the second best band. I'm calling it.

I have something similar in mind: surprisingly, Bau's band loses, since the one judging the battle of the bands is an angel in disguise, he/she/it has sensed that Bau made a deal with Bapho and two (or three) members of his band gave their souls to him, so they're disqualified.
Since they didn't win, the deal is considered void: they're given their souls back, the white dog (what's his name, anyway?) is transformed back to his former self and the portal on Ma-star's head is closed.
Or, the ULTIMATE TWIST: it's all just a dream!

While everyone is here theorizing, I would like to give my jab at what's actually happening:
Yes probably both bands have made pacts to be "the most awesome thing since sliced bread" but a little thing wasn't acounted for, Bapho isn't the only demon with wish granting prowes and they had the bad luck of both bands making pacts with rivaling demons, Bau with Bapho and the oposing band with some other devilish figure (I don't know maybe mephistofeles or whoever) and like that both bands are kinda stuck on trying to outnumber the other.
So possibility numbah one: they reach a tie in wich both demons come up to stage and decide to strike a deal of who has the biggest dick wins or whatever and sexy hijinks inssue.
or possibility numbeh two: an angel as you guys predicted is the judge and gets tired of both bands' BS and disqualifies both, on wich Bau smart as he is, tries to convince the judge otherwise with some "less than apropriate means" and the band wins... If Im at any point even close to the true outcome I'll be genuinelly surprised.

I like your idea of the Bolts having made a deal with another demon and the first solution too!
As for the second solution (thank you for liking my idea, anyway!), I have envisioned two scenarios: either the Bolts win and Bau's band is disqualified because of their deal with the devil, or the Bolts are disqualified too for using a synthesizer or another electronic musical instrument that imitates sounds... I don't know, could it be a reason for disqualification?
I didn't consider the possiblity of the Bolts having made a deal with Bapho too or with another demon in my scenarios, sorry.
However, I have to disagree with you on Bau's band winning because he manages to convince the angel judge with some "less than apropriate means"; usually angels are more uncorruptible than humans or demons. Well, Bau's band could have a chance of winning if Bapho appeared and we discover that Bapho and the angel had a fling or a one-night stand, so he/she/it could be convinced to declare Bau and his band winners.
