And...I dunno...something that's not porn but not clean either, I guess? Like none of my current ideas even require anybody getting naked, even though some of them would be obviously sexual. If that makes sense.

I know it says you love critique on your profile, but I just thought it would be polite to ask first. Now my critique is based on the assumption you're going for realistic anatomy (I know some artists might purposely make their characters disproportional to make them look toony). Anyway, I noticed this. As beautifully beefy as Tanya's arms are, it looks like they're disproportionally long. Like her right arm, she has it slung around Rasmus, but her knuckles still manage to reach her waist. If she let her arms down, it looks like they could reach her knees, when they should reach half-way down her thighs at most. If you look at a person standing idle, their hands will be resting just a bit below waistline.

That's the only thing that's really noticeable. But besides that, her thighs are looking a bit short and they could use some beefing up to match her arms. Right now it looks like her arms and thighs are about the same thickness, when the thighs should be at least a bit thicker.

It sounds like you're going more for some sort of artistic erotica with BDSM themes? Just say you're drawing erotica instead of porn, then you can feel classy.

The intent at least is that she's supposed to have slightly long arms and be kinda oddly top-heavy for the bearlike look...but that one arm confused me a lot especially, since I totally couldn't figure out where her hand should be. You're right, it really is obviously too long now that I'm looking at it again. I'll have to try messing around with the other things too when/if I get around to cleaning this up. Critique and politeness are both appreciated!

The top-heavy bear look is good, just got to keep it within realistic bounds.

Now that you mention it, I might attempt a nude or mostly-nude Tanya of some sort at some point to practice her anatomy. That's really not a bad idea, actually.

Awesome. There was one last thing that sort of aroused my curiosity. Rasmus and Tanya (mostly Rasmus though) are really typical Scandanavian names and they're both sort of polar/arctic species. Are they supposed to be Scandanavian or is that just coincidence?

Both names were picked to be appropriate to their species, though it's Scandinavian for Rasmus and Russian for Tanya. So halfway yes! That and Rasmus is just a really frikkin cool name in my opinion.

Ah, but are those also their actual nationalities? (Although Scandanavian isn't really a nationality) Maybe you haven't decided on that. I just thought you might have since it's official Spike is British.

I can see how Rasmus would sound cool to a native English-speaker, but in Scandanavia it's just sort of a generic name, heh. It's one of those names like John or Sarah, everybody has had a classmate named Rasmus.

Their actual nationalities are British as with Spike (just non-British family history in their cases), since I have some other minor characters I imagine occupying the same setting who have more typical English-speaking names. And write/draw what you know, etc.

And yeah, the name probably does sound cool to me since it's not a name I usually see. XD But I also just like the sounds. It amuses me to realise that John or Sarah sound cool and unusual to somebody...logically I should know that, but it's still an odd though, haha.
