(As told by Vaed)
In the dark of night or brightest of mornings, his mood stayed the same once he was stuck in a book. The only thing that would change was his position over the course of time. I never really understood magic, nor do i really care about it, but seeing my brother enraptured by it so or studying its intricacies made me wish to learn why he held it in such high regard.
"Brother?" I walked in, coffee in hand
"Hmm?" He mumbled
"Why're you so into magic?" I asked
He paused for a moment and sniffed the air, his massive mane twisting and shifting like waves in an ocean. He turned, a chill to the room as he did so.
"I will tell you for the price of coffee." He muttered, a small grin to his face. I never part with my coffee so I regarded him with a grunt. "If you so insist."
He went back to his book, flipping through pages and muttering to himself in almost a singing rhythm. I left then returned about 20 minutes later, this time with two cups of coffee. I extended my arm for his cup and it was received well by the dracat.
"So dear sister, read along with me while I talk."
after awhile we both just kind of got comfortable, him reading to me as I supplied coffee.
