I pretty much avoid physical proximity of humans until I've had caffeine of some sort. First task I had at MFF was uber my way to the Aldi to get a supply of energy drinks.
I like coffee too but I'm picky about it. The only stuff I've had that I really enjoy is the stuff I grind myself fresh with that hand-crank burr coffee grinder and an aeropress. The method shown to me by

Yeah fresh ground and pressed coffee is the best, Though lately I've been super lazy and just been using my Keurig lol. I really need to get back to doing it the proper way. This may sound silly but I've literally never had an energy drink I feel like if I do I'll be just as addicted to them as I am to coffee. Lol

Oh you definitely will be addicted as you say. I buy 24 packs which basically last me the month. The big thing for me is that they're sugar free and almost all sugar free carbonated drinks I don't like that much. I used to like the sugar ones but then they got too intense for me when I reduced my sugar intake.
