Axel and Glitter were setting up for the local ‘after prom’ affair at a large event hall. They had arrived and began setting up equipment and decorations almost immediately. Glitter was tasked with setting up decorations and tables- making the place nice. Glitter had completed most of the decoration tasks and moved on to her favorite part of decorating. Balloons!
She smiled slyly as she listened to the familiar flick of the tank and the soft whoosh as each balloon was inflated with helium. She tied each balloon and gathered them into small bunches, tying them to appropriate table weights. She danced about the hall placing the clusters at each of the tables as center pieces.
After she was finished with the table centers she stood proud as she looked around to be sure everything was completed. Glitter skipped over to offer Axel a hand to finish up with the sound systems. She was close to bursting out when she found him practically drowning in wires. “Don’t look at me like that! I know what I’m doing…. I really should color code these things.” He growled playfully and smiled up at her. “Fine, I just need a little help.”
They finished after a bit and did a few lighting and sound checks, after making sure that all the items on the check list were completed Axel offered to pick up food while Glitter stayed with the equipment. They agreed on a food place and Axel headed out.
Glitter sat at a small table close to the DJ booth. She listened to the soft music, they had left on, but became bored rather quickly. She bounced the group of helium balloons that sat at the table and her eyes lit up. Her feline instincts kicked in as she tackled the center off and became tangled up in moments. She looked around as she rose a few feet up and smiled obviously enjoying herself. She giggled thinking of how Axel could find her. Axel had returned moments later.

o.o oh my gosh these pieces are so lovely and an amazing gift. I love them!
And I really enjoy the story that goes with these two pieces as well, that sounds like something she would do just to be kinda romantic/silly at the same time. X3 i'm sure Axel was all like o.o *sighs* hun not the best timing there for your feline instincts to kick in.. lol
I like her top too makes me want to find something like it irl now. X3
I also like how you draw Glitter and how you did the designs on the balloons. I hope her spots weren't a huge pain for you.. ><;
