I'm just gonna talk about the brush I used for this here feel free to ignore
I really like this brush! A lot of the issues I was having with the first brush I tried (the one the sale headshot was done with) were completely non issues with it!! It's a little rough at the edges, so it really reminds me of oil painting~ It was a lot faster than I was expecting too! I didn't do much else today, but I was able to get it done in only one day which is gratifying. The way the colors blend with this brush are very nice for this kind of work...
I'm actually pretty excited about this brush, it means there's a chance I could do more paintings as regular YCHs or commissions without a lot of the concerns I was having!!! I'm pretty excited to see what the other brushes can do now too~ Some of them seem like they'll be better for certain effects or even flat color work? I might not use the flat color one in this sale, since flat color tends to be on the cheaper side and I do want to make sure everyone who participates feels as if they've actually gotten a deal @ v @;; That's about all I have for this one, except to say I REALLY need to make sure to do backgrounds first with this kind of brush... Otherwise the work triples.
