So I wasn't planning on actually submitting this since this was just a practice I did while following along with an Aaron Blaise livestream demonstration thing... BUT, I kind of haven't submitted anything in a week! xD
(As always, it's not because I haven't been drawing, but I've mostly been doing sketches / character designs for an upcoming comics project!)
This was more of a lighting / shading test than anything, and my GOODNESS I like the way Aaron does it! (Mine is very watered down in comparison, obviously, but it's still a LOT better than my usual!) Oh, also my anatomy here is SUPER wonky. I didn't pause the video at all so my reference was sort of flying all over the screen. That and keeping up with Aaron is quite difficult! xD
