Some of Ivory and Aries' backstory, involving more of their batshit hag grandmother. While Ivory inherited both types of psychic abilities, Aries only takes after their mother. So, their grandmother sees no use for him, and also kind of takes her disapproval of their mother out on him. Aries went through a phase of getting himself into a lot trouble, doing some sketchy shit, which had some very bad consequences. Ivory doesn't know about any of that. She also doesn't get what Aries thinks is so wrong about what their grandmother does. After they lost their parents, their grandmother took Ivory and tried to turn her against Aries, threatening to tell her what he had done or worse (to him, of course. Not Ivory). Ivory doesn't know what to think. Her and Aries were always close, she's oblivious to the reality of what her grandmother does and just thinks is magical, she doesn't want to believe what either of them say about each other; it contradicts the sheltered life she had known, she rather just hide from it all, and starts retreating more into to her delusional mental fantasy.
