Fear.... Anxiety... Both cause Lunali's heart to thump firmly in her chest. She was pacing at the edge of Aubryana's lair. Not that long ago intruders had entered the territory. Aubryana had snarled for Lunali to stay put and she was doing her best to follow, yet she wished nothing moe than to leap forth into the forest.
The bellow of a triumphant roar startled her, making her take flight. She knew that Roar, it was aubryana's, He must have won and yet there was pain twinged in beneath that deep bellow. Heart in her throat she beat herself hastily for she did know not what she would find.
In what felt like an eternity she finally spotted the dark figure of Aubryana in flight, both then began their decent, him landing first; her second with a slight stumble by his side. Her eyes were shifting rapidly in a back and forth motion as she surveyed his injuries.
So focused she became she did not notice the wing as she gently rests a paw upon his side, her other lightly hovering above the wound. Blue whips like flames slowly wrapped themselves around her forelimb and claws, their fluttering going up her arm before slowly as if blown by a gentle breeze they began to waft over the wound.
The wound glowing softly, her eyes studied it, watching as the skin began to form a new. She poured herself into her magic, her care, and gentleness, her love, willing Aubryana to rest as she worked though she said naught out loud.
It was only when the wound had almost healed did she relax and notice the protection she found herself in, even harmed he still protected her, just as she was trying to protect him, to keep him well and safe. Resting her head on his shoulder, away from the still closing wound; she closed her eyes and curled in closer.
While he may be cold, she knew he held a warmth and it was moments like these it revealed itself. Moments like these she cherished and for that she stayed by his side, letting him protect her as she healed him, always.
