Me and

t-truck Stripped the interior from the car. I kept my radio and heat though All and all, we stripped 90 - 95 lbs.

My 94 sl2 is as roughly as light as a stock first gen miata and still need to take 200lbs more to get where I want.

can you strip out the dash n replace it with a one side, or do you have to have air bags, i never kept up with my legal department

I believe if the vehicle came factory with airbags, to keep it street legal the airbags cannot be removed. If it were to be a purely track car however, airbags are not required. I could be wrong so don't quote me on that.

Driver's side air bag is missing anyways. So, the system wouldn't work without all of it's components anyways.

There are tons of vihecles without airbags on the streets, so i see no reason why anybody should keep them to keep his car streetlegal.

for race, all you need is a 5 point harness and a good roll cage ^^ so your good on that bit
