On May 27th 1941 a giant was lost with the lives of over 1990 sailors. The DKM Bismarck just 3 days before engaged and sank HMS Hood killing over 1400 men leaving just 3 survivors. What happened to these two giants should never be forgot by us or history. As Memorial Day recognizes all who served I want to show sorrow and sympathy for all those effected by those few short days that ended the lives of over 2400 sailors. May they Rest in Peace
