Can you build a team by mixing a Shire Horse stallion with an Arabian stallion? Yes you can. And if you need the right soundtrack now, please, check out Jerry Goldsmith's "The 13th Warrior" (because, well, his dog can jump)
It was so lovely to have theshadowcheetah as a guest here in Germany.

You can compensate strength and stride, if you are stable from your core. And Moondusk has a core stability you wouldn't believe. Naturally Moondusk kept up pretty well and was a great partner to team up with - which only encourages me to continue to work on my own balance and core stability.
Ah, yes. I mean... you gotta understand that for Moondusk it had been a dream for years to visit the Fury workshop in Germany. So when Moondusk finally got all the way from NZ to Europe, we couldn't just "show and tell". Thank God Fury's personal tack had the perfect size.
It was not only fun, but a big surprise. Moondusk clearly did not expect that to happen. And I give them credit. I have a long stride, when I walk. But Moondusk was one of the best partners I have teamed up with so far. Core stability... I say it again and again.
Anyway. I am so happy Moondusk had an all sheepish smile on their face for the rest of the day. And the next... I just love it when people's dreams come true and be a little help in it.

Well - if your heart skipped a beat I feel kinda bad to send you this link http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8514583/ with some of our video footage. I mean... I might be the reason for your hubby calling the ambulance
What I have learned so far is that there are pony players all around the world. But yeah... if we want to meet, we usually need to travel a lot. I take it you would enjoy to be a pony-girl? Or are you thinking about a more furry-based approach?

Oooooh, I'll have to take a look!
As much as I love the kinksters I've met locally, there's very little focus on expanding what's being offered. It seems to be mostly one group running things and all they do is impact play and rope bondage. It's fun and all, but not always what I'm in the mood for. I've taught classes on petplay and role-enactment fetishism at the local dungeon and they got a good sized response, but my play group eventually dwindled down to just three people. The nearest couple who do pony stuff I've seen is a three hour drive and our car isn't reliable enough to go outside of town. My mentor in the community here was a riding pony years back, even got featured in a magazine and a couple of videos, but she's been on the road with her Master for the last year or two so we don't get to see each other.
I've been a puppy for years, but I've wanted to be a pony girl for a long time as well, with gear pretty similar to yours - pulling harness, hoof boots, I want it all! Maybe even a little ostrich feather headpiece... It's one of my big dreams

P-P-P-PLUME?!?!? ARRRRGH!!!!
Sorry, for that - the whole "feather-on-head"-thing has been a constant running gag. Some ponies love the plume. Others.... not so much
Yeah, I understand how things are. Personally I stay away from most group organisations. I am more focused on personal contacts and people. Which, of course, I pay for by having to travel when I want to meet others. Then again... pony play is a very personal thing for me. Something I don't wish to share with others that much. It is a very personal headspace that I protect fiercly. Something people find hard to understand when they know my photos or my talks, where I seem to be all giddy and welcoming. I like to show and tell, yes. Mainly in the hopes to take other people's fear to go out there and try for themselves. But it takes a while for me to accept others, if at all. Luna here is one of the few exceptions.
That said: Which area of the US are you from?

Hey now, I want what I want - I can't help what looks like fun to me. I'm gonna rock that plume like you've never seen! Not all the time though, part of being classy is knowing when to dress up and when to dress down.
Philosophically, I'm kind of the same way with my puppy play. It's not just a kink, it's who I am. My headspace and the bond I have with those who work with me is sacred in a way I don't think many people get. So I'm happy to tell people about it, even to demonstrate. But nobody holds my leash unless I'd trust them with my life, because in that headspace that's exactly what it feels like.
I'm in the Midwest, though I don't plan to be here forever.

Phew... I know quite a few Ponies on the East and on the West-Coast. As for the Middle? Eh... not so many. And they all suffer from the same problem: Hardly anyone nearby. Wish I could be more of a help here.
Glad to hear you can relate to my thoughts on the whole headspace thing.

I know, there's a lot to dislike about it and it wouldn't be my first choice. But my husband has an awful skin condition and the weather there is better for it, especially near the coast where it's always a comfortable temperature. Not to mention we're Disney fanatics and a local resident pass to Disney World is pretty reasonable and would actually get him to go outside and exercise. It's already humid where we are, and the weather goes between heavy coat weather and sweltering heat every other day for half the year and there's nothing to do outside unless you hunt or fish. At least being miserable and sweaty there is offset by going to the beach or hugging Disney mascots :D
Hey, whatever floats your boat; All I am saying is that aligator bites are a not-to-be-underestimated skin condition, either.
I shall keep my fingers crossed for you guys. Truth to be told I haven't been to Florida so far. I never got further South than Atlanta on my travels along the East Coast.
