Final Version of my pinup of Velast. Trying my hand at a realistic painting style without relying on outlines. It turned out all right in my opinion, but there are definitely areas that I'm not too pleased with.
Working in this style takes a rely long time so I don't think you'll see me trying to do too many high realism paintings like this one
I think I may have over-worked this one and lost some of the nice looseness I had in its earlier stages.
I edited the pic with a reworked head, face and scales. You may need to reset your browser's cache to see the changes. Now I don't hate the face anymore!

Pretty interesting and detailed. Though... perhaps looks a bit soft for a reptillian humanoid *shrug*. And face/head seems off a bit, but overall I like this piece. :3 The eyes look very well done, as do the curves and construction of the body. I'm also fond of the tail. :3
