These adoptables are an interesting idea. But I fear it might not do so well. Cause it feels like one of those kinder egg kind of toys with the surprise inside, but those are rarely more than 2 dollars each. and even when you don't know what's inside, it still gives a pre-existing list of what could be inside.
so I commend you for the idea, but unfortunately, I'm really not sure anyone is going to bite. I'd be pleased to find if i'm wrong though.

That...is a very fine point =/
I price the adoptables a bit cheaper than an average sketch commission, so I was kind of hoping the reduced price, affordable adoptable someone can own in the form of the sketch in which they have a base to develop their own ways, and fun in the mystery of what they could get might be attractive. Buuuut as said, you make some very fine points.
Not quite sure how to make a list of what might be inside without spoiling wholly whats in there though...thoughts?

I have seen a similar sort of adoptable thing that someone did. Where they were doing adopts of the characters as babies. and while they didn't make the adult form themselves, they left what they'd look like as adults up to the person who adopts them. But I can see you also try a similar thing where each object is home to a baby of the creature inside, And then when someone adopts it, you can then reveal them all grown up.
