Callil, one of his characters, is a rogue with a very strong fiendish bloodline. She can jump short distances through shadows, see in virtually any kind of darkness (except the stuff she makes herself, but she's working on that), and can steal pretty much anything that isn't nailed down (along with some stuff that IS nailed down).
