As I was working on getting a few refs for myself drawn I had a stray thought about that one Japanese soldier they found on an island living in a bunker that didn't know the war had ended.

From there the thoughts turned to, "What if an American had been left behind on an island?" From there it turned into, "What if there had been a native population on said island that had mostly been moved 'for their own safety'?" Undoubtedly there would be a few that would manage to hide from such an effort, and this led to thoughts on what became this image. A girl born on an island in the middle of the pacific, that no one goes to, to an American father with only a handful of people ever having been in her life.

Was just a no effort, fifteen minute doodle, and yes, she's intended to be that thick. You'd expect every member of a small group on an island to be able to do any job, so any girl would grow up at least a little beefy in that situation. Also, I know her one leg looks too short. I don't care. I'm about to pass out for the night. :P
