I looked up definitions for the KA unit earlier and decided to classify him as android after this separation: "Robots are purely mechanical, and are rarely designed to pass for a human. Cyborgs are bionic, with organic and inorganic components. Androids are purely mechanical (though they may have synthetic skin), and are programmed to act like a human. In things such as Blade Runner, they are capable of passing for a human."

I guess I would classify my character as android then, since sometimes I use synthetic materials for some of his bodyworks.
