Turns out the army doesn't do "foxholes" anymore. Now they qualify with this position. Notice the canteen tucked under his back right ankle to help support it.
Weapon is a standard M16A2, killing popup targets out to 300 meters.

I feel for ya there... Though I am jealous about the whole canteen thing because I didn't get think of that when I did it... There's always next enlistment...
