A brief introduction to an... idea... I've had for some time, that's finally materialising into, well... something maybe.

Robin and the Strays of Sherwood
In modern day Nottinghamshire, an unlikely hero is out to do what he can to save the world from destruction. Armed with impressive agility, a quick wit, and the tiniest bow and arrows you've ever seen, Robin's quest is to steal from the rich humans and give to the neglected and abused animals that the dominant species forgot about. The most despicable human of them all is known only as the "Sheriff"; he's so busy cashing in on everyone else's money that he cannot see the harm he's doing to the very planet he lives on. His most loyal employee is a guy named... Guy. He actually has some pretty good ideas on how Sheriff's corporation could become more environmentally-friendly, but doesn't dare let his ideas get out to the public as it could cost him his job.
Going up against a dastardly human who owns a very influential corporation is a daunting task indeed, but Robin doesn't work alone. Sheriff's little lovebird Marian is in cahoots with Robin, and she serves as a very helpful spy on the inside. Robin is also assisted by his band of strays - four domesticated animals that previously suffered abuse or neglect, and once freed they joined forces to make sure no creature has to suffer the way they did. Robin and his strays reside in their hidden camp in Sherwood Forest, where they plot and plan their next big rescue mission.

As you've probably figured, SoS is a Robin Hood AU that's set in the present day and the heroes are animals. I don't want to compete with Disney's animal version of Robin Hood, but I think this concept is pretty different from that one, the only real similarities being the legend itself and the animal theme. There will be some environmental awareness themes, most of which will probably poke fun at how hypocritical the human race can be (e.g. "wasting electricity is bad and I'm using the internet to tell you all this"). The part I haven't really decided on yet is exactly what the content will be. Maybe I'll do some comics, maybe some animated shorts, or maybe just some little illustrations. It really is just an overall basis I have right now, but I want to do something with it.
