This wonderful drawing by  Peaxhy is a tribute to two of my pups. Kalli K. an American Eskimo and Jessie a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Kalli loved to run up and down the fence to get the attention of the Lab who lived next door. She wore out all the grass there and, after a rain, would come back inside with her white undercarriage caked in mud.

Jessie is pictured here with her favorite stuffed toy. I always got such a kick of of throwing her hedgehog down the hall and watching Jessie’s short, little legs churning as she ran after it at top Corgi speed.

Neither of these girls is with me any longer, but this drawing is so full of life and brings back terrific memories like those I wrote about here.
