The nightmare just keeps rolling merrily along, as Deck loses out on yet another peaceful evening. And his token dignity. The robot attack comes later.

The stories are very good character-driven space opera.
I consider the finished comic pages in Havoc, Inc. to be spectacular. This witty & charming story series seemed to evoke Terrie Smith's best character and story-telling art. If she isn't doing the inking, the inker is enhancing her style. And the tone work is wonderful -- it's a perfect complement to the line-art & story. The toning enriches the character interactions, and suggests an elaborate, solid 3D environment. Toning like this is the equivalent of good color.
I expect that the comics done in this pattern of presentation (Havoc Inc. & the others) will be 'rediscovered' -- but they will probably have to be rediscovered as trade paperback collections. If the comics are up on the internet with permission, that is going to enhance the sales of hard-copy versions -- if the hard-copy versions are available (in stores or mail-order) and advertised. (Check out the on-line publishing model of Baen Books - which has been very successful.)
My complements to one of the chefs.

Terrie inked herself here. I'd inked her before on a RHUDIPRRT back-up, a one-shot for GAY COMICS, on KATMANDU and on the one issue of SHANDA she laid out. Overall, I was not happy with my work there, as I always prefer the layourt artist doing their own inks. It's more, as you say. true-to-life. She needed me about as much as she needed a parking ticket.
Thanks for the kind words. I had a ball writing the series.
