Introducing... Robin!
Unlike his teammates, Robin was never a pet and has always lived life as a wild animal. That may also explain why his name is simply just his species! Robin is considered a local hero from the perspective of the Nottinghamshire animals - wild and domesticated alike. He's always going out of his way to ensure that they have enough food, access to clean water, and a safe place to live. In doing so, however, he's made himself a bit infamous with the humans. Although he never means any harm towards them, he's considered a pest in the way that he digs up gardens for worms (to feed birds that are less able to fly and dig for themselves), rummaging through dustbins and compost (again, only to dig up morsels for hungry animals), and he's even been witnessed interacting with domesticated animals who have then "acted out". As bizarre as they know it sounds, some humans are starting to believe that, somehow, Robin is being a bad influence on their own animals. They don't realise that the animals he targets are already being neglected or abused, and he's only giving them survival tips. In turn, when the humans direct their anger at the so-called "pest", Robin thinks that they are being intentionally abusive to animals and doesn't realise that so much of it is due to a lack of understanding or attention. Both sides mean no real harm to each other, but both sides are also pretty oblivious of that! As such, Robin has a serious hatred towards the human race.
Robin's been looking out for the animals of Nottinghamshire for the majority of his life, and only recently has he gathered a band of strays to aid him on his quests. Being the most experienced team member and the self-proclaimed leader, he can be pretty cocky at times. His arrogant nature has got him into trouble before (in fact, this was what originally caused him to realise that he needed help from others in the first place), but he's very self-confident and always bounces back. Robin often uses a teeny tiny set of bow and arrows during his missions; how he is able to use it so precisely and flawlessly with his flimsy little wings is best left to the imagination. He's very resourceful and a quick thinker, in addition to being agile and sneaky. It is perhaps due to his wide variety of strengths that he can be reluctant to give his teammates the credit they deserve and prefers to hog the spotlight himself, but there's no doubt that his heart's in the right place, and as far as show-offs go he's really quite selfless.

Early character concept for "Robin and the Strays of Sherwood". Backstories and basic personalities are pretty much there, but the characters' aesthetic designs may still change and their personalities will develop over time.
