Let's see these books I borrowed at the library. I need to refresh my knowledge of old shows and... Wait a second... That book wasn't part of them!
The book Buster Moon, owner and manager of the ressurected New Moon Theater, thought about was a small old one covered with dust.
The guys at the library must have put it in my selection without paying attention. Oh well, might as well give a look.
With difficulties, he removed the incrusted dust on the cover, revealing a word.
Musicomancy
Musicomancy? Wait, like pyromancy, that name for fire magic in fictions? Magic music? What.
Pushed by surprise and curiosity, Buster started leafing through the book. Each page was a title, a short description, and a musical sheet.
And with each of them, he got more incredulous.
Mjolnir: Unleash the power of lightning.
Phoenix's cry: Heal wounds.
Buster idly noticed that some of the sheets seemed old, but others looked much more recent.
Eventually, he reached the last page.
Magnum Opus.
This time, there was no description, it directly went to the music sheet, which was supposed to be sung.
Okay, it's either the work of a crazy guy, or a prank, thought the koala. I mean, magic through music? And that, he doesn't even bother to say what it does!
And on a sarcastic whim, he sung that last sheet.
But when he ended it and shut his mouth, he heard the song repeat itself all alone around him.
He barely had the time to be surprised that he felt a sudden sense of pressure all over him, as if his clothes suddenly became too small for him.
He realized with astonishment that it was because they were getting too small for him, or rather, he was getting too big for them.
His body was not only gaining in height, it was also packing on more muscle than any koala ever had.
He felt his shirt stretch over his newfound pecs and abs until all the buttons went flying, his shoes explode to release his growing feet, his vest and pants' sleeves be shredded by his swelling muscles, his strength grow with his body.
And surprise be replaced by enjoyment.
After a few moments, the music finally stopped filling his ears, and with it, the growth.
Buster estimated that he had at least doubled, maybe even tripled in height, and was now as musclebound as a professionnal bodybuilder.
He also noticed two things.
The first thing was his shredded clothes around him, except for the base of his pants who now formed an impromptu speedo, whose content also benefited of this turn of events.
Thank goodness I have bought another suit, just in case!
The second thing was the book, lying on the ground.
If this one is for real... Maybe the other ones too! Wow... I'll need to make sure of it.
He smirked.
But for the moment, let's focus on this one! I could get used to this...
The second I saw Buster, I knew I wanted him bigger, but I hesitated to do it...
Until
sarahbara did it, giving me the final push!
