This is Rex. As many of you already know, he's a robot from a not-so-far future, from the year 2200. He was initially created to kill somebody in this era (fun fact, they are best friends now). His creator built him up with the most advanced A. I. among other advanced features like the capacity of camouflage, using his sensors and holograms he can easily change his look to almost anything that comes in mind. He has also an arsenal designed specially to kill that person, programmed to detect and take advantage of every weak point of his objective. He also isn't affected by lightning due to his special armor and his pawpads that act like ground earth. Water doesn't seem to have any effect, but in the case there is a component of his internal system exposed (in wich case he diables for security)

When his creator sent him to our era, the energy from the time travel damaged severely all his memory banks (except his ROM) and made him brick out. Someday, one guy who had a comics store found him and put his body in exhibition, where Mike (one of my characters) went often to buy/sell comics and other collectionables. That was when Mike saw the poor robot behind the glass, just like a mannequin, and thinking it was from an outdated movie decided to buy it as a gift for his friend (Rex's objective). When Mike got to home, he stared to Rex wondering why someone could just treat it like that, and he realized it was More than just a mannequin! Because Mike studied robotics for many years, he tried to repair Rex. It took him several months, but succeded at last. The first one Rex saw, was his objective, without knowing what he had to do. Now this sweet robot lives with Mike and the other one, learning from them without the bonds of the robotics laws.

Try to guess who's the other one, Rex's objective and actual best friend... Yes, thats me, Mark McWest of course ;)
