One of my obsessions as a child was old appliances, specifically the colorful variety that were offered over the years from the 1950's up to the 1980's. Before it all became monotonous stainless steel crap.
The only one of these pictured that I know actually has a similar real-life counterpart is the green stove on the bottom left. The others all came from the top of my head. Also, fun fact, I drew this in math class. Because I could really care less about school, especially when I was in my teens.

You sound like me. I don't actually remember if I got pictures or not, but I definitely drew a lot of the building's interiors. Specifically the old science rooms, which used to be home ec rooms, and still had the 1960's era model kitchens in place
And yeah, most cases I've had to deal with cops was over something stupid. Wish they'd put some of their effort into fixing our violent crime statistics
