I am the new Number 2!
"I AM THE NEW NUMBER 2!"
I watched a few stray episodes of "The Prisoner" way back in my childhood on one of its rare repeats here in Germany... and always meant to watch the full crazy thing one day - and finally managed to sit down and do exactly that around last Christmas. And man, what a crazy Christmas time it was. :D This was also the time when I sketched and inked it, but because I always had something else to do the coloring fell off the wayside, until now.
When people do their "The Prisoner" fanart they usually put themselves into the role of Number 6, the hero of the piece, probably because his "I'm not selling out!!" attitude is rather relatable and the one that we all aspire (and should aspire!) to. But hey, why not spin around in the funky chair of the Green Dome's control room for once, tickling your creative side and come up with plans to squeeze out INFORMATION out of Number 6? :D
Well, anyway, if you have never seen this and happen to be fond of profound 60s psychedelia then look no further and give this one a go! (And yes, there was a remake in the 00s that no one like and less people have even seen. And seems to be uninteresting on the visual side as well, so better avoid that one.)

we stayed at portmeirion only a day; we was based in tremadog , in a hostel, the snowdon lodge,
that was Lawrence of Arabia's birthplace, roaming northern wales,
climbing the snowdon (and getting lost in the fog) and visiting what was in 2005 essentially a tourist trap,
interesting for the architecture and the places to recognize but without a hint of the athmosphere of the series.
the years 1960 are truly passed...
