All starting bids exceed $100 for male spots... wtf? It's like its not even a shared commission? Price is over $1000 total divided among 9 people, for a piece you can get of equal quality by most artists on FA for $50, and those artists let your character be alone.
I'm sorry, but I'm not a millionare IRL. The only people in the planet IRL who can afford those commissions exists solely in the upper class of 1st world countries.
It's an insult to furries everywhere who aren't the wealthy elite of their country.
Let alone, no-one can afford that commission if their from a third world country unless their an Arabian prince...
I'll continue to watch you both, because your artwork is awesome.
But you demand prices that most people can never pay... and can make more money than most middle-class full-time business owners in the USA solely by selling your art.
My mom is an artist... and she doesn't make shit in money... even though her art is in galleries and museums...

Dude, that's not funny. Firstly, I've never made such prices before, I don't earn so much money as you think. Secondly.. what if I need money just for a food, for new sneakers, for a good doctor finally!.. Really not funny.

I know this reply is quite late but I feel the need to jump in, and hopefully, it doesn't start anything! Artists need to make money. They're people who need to pay bills, medical expenses, for food, etc. just like people with more "serious" and common careers. A good lawyer can make over $100k a year, these prices are nothing compared to that. They're doing what they love and their prices are totally up to them. If they want feedback on what changes they could make to their prices, they'll ask. Although the SB is quite pricey, I'm almost positive it would've reached that checkpoint for each slot anyways, might as well speed the process up.

Ango obviously isn't that rich because they're not a pampered adult. Even if they were that rich, just give them some credit because they probably worked for it, that would be incredible. Although I appreciate your feedback, and I'm sure Ango does too, I just wish you would've approached the topic with a little bit more kindness.

Ango, you just keep on doing you man <3 some artists charge 20 dollars, some charge 500. You and Koul are both amazing artists and you guys deserve every penny you make. I'm participating in this YCH solely because I want to support both of you guys and if that costs 100 or more, I'm fine with it. One thing that people seem to miss is that YCHs generally sell character slots for less than an actual commission price, not to mention that this is split between two people. Koul doesn't have a price list but I would assume she's charging at least a similar amount to you, which means for a shaded and colored piece like this, it should be around $645 for ONE artist to complete. Both you and Koul are two separate people, last I checked. That means you're splitting the price -- basically, each of you is getting the characters done for at least half off.

Try not to let others get you down ^w^ you'll always have support, at least from me!
