Welcome to the capital
After a much rather improvised drop from the cable cart cable, Reiva walks thru town looking at the different kiask and buying some suplies.
Reiva: Ok I think we got enough suplies for the trip. *he sighs* My wallet took a beating though...
Aldine: Figures... I hope you saved some money for the train ticket... *he glares at Reiva from over his shoulder*
Reiva: Relax we still have enough for the ticket. *he chuckles* Honestly youy worry to much.
Aldine: It's that worrying that keeps you alive. *he raises an eyeridge*
Reiva enters the train station and heads to the ticket booth where a young man receives him.
Young man: Welcome sir ticket to where?
Reiva: The capital city please.
Young man: Allright a ticket to Autros is about 200 Gold, and I'll need your Crystranceiver to process the ticket.
Reiva: Allright. *he takes a 3 inch long crystal like item from his pocket and sets it on the counter along with 200 Gold* Here you go.
Young man: Allright lets process your ticket first. *he takes the Crystranceiver, the crystal splits in half and extends to reveal a rectangular screen, the young man searches thru the crystranceiver only to find an empty information screen* Sir it appears you havent synched your crystranceiver.
Reiva: Synched? *he looks at the young man*
Young man: Crystranceivers are an important tool for travelers, it contains your info, and other important data. I suggest you get it Synchronized. *he gives back the Crystranceiver and money*
Reiva: *he takes the Crystranceiver and money back* Ok but where do I get it Synched?
Young man: There's a store nearby they can help you get it Synched. Is right around the corner.
Reiva: Thanks I'll be back after I get it Synched, lets go Aldine.
Young man: Ok but you should hurry the train heads out in 30 minutes.
Reiva: What!? *he runs out of the train station and heads to the Crystranceiver store around the corner* Alright this should be it.
Aldine: Well hurry in we dont have that much time!
Reiva: Fine dont yell in my ear again. *he heads into the store and looks around, the stands lined with different Crystranceiver models he stops at the counter where a grey furred Wolf gar lady looked at him her glasses gleaming in the light*
Lana: Hi there my name is Lana, may I be of service? *she smiles her ears standing straight and her tail lightly wagging*
Reiva: Ummm hi I need this Crystranceiver synched please. *he sets the crystranceiver on the counter, and looks at her as she smiles back*
Lana: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!! *she looks at the crystranceiver in awe*
Reiva: is something wrong? *he looks at her worried*
Aldine: Maybe she's having hallucinations from working nonstop, work does that to you. *he looks at Reiva narrowing his eyes*
Reiva: Oh shut up Aldine that only happened once!
Aldine: Yeah and you thought I was a pillow.
Lana: Is not that, this is an Alpha series Y Crystranceiver, they're not even supposed to be out yet! Either you stole this or you know someone important. Either way I'm not judging I've always wanted to work on one of these ever since they were announced.
Reiva: Ok. *he smiles and thinks/ Geez old man did you really have to pull some strings to get me this... /* Umm so how do you Synchronize it?
Lana: Is easy really, *she swipes her blunt clawed finger thru the screen and the words "Scanning mode" flashes on the screen* it has to first scan your magical aura, us Wolf gars have a dim aura due to our low practice of magic, but it can still read it, I'm gonna need your summoning beast to jump off your shoulder so I can begin scanning please.
Aldine: It poses no problem for me. *he jumps onto the counter and sits watching Reiva*
Lana: Ok now remain perfectly still. *she aims the Crystranceiver at Reiva and it begins scanning* Whoa what the!? *the screen shows reiva to be surrounded by shinning waves of aura, the the flashes "scanning complete magical synchrinization complete"*
Reiva: Umm what's wrong? *he looks at her*
Lana: This thing must be glitched, it reads your magical aura to be of a strong glow, but this is an alpha series the scanning system is flawless unless... *she looks at him* You have a high magical affinity.
Reiva: Hehe I do actually... *he blushes lightly* I'm still practicing though.
Lana: *she looks at him in surprise* Ummm... Well I-I think the crystranceiver is done scanning all you need to do now is enter your info. *she hands him the crystranceiver* Just enter your name, gender, age, birthday, height, hair/fur color, eye color, and occupation.
Reiva: Ok. *he starts typing on the screen until he reaches the last one* Um what do I put in the last one?
Lana: If you're not sure just put other. After you do hand it over to me and I'll finish the synchronization process.
Reiva: *he fills the last blank* Allright it's done. *he hands her the crystranceiver*
Lana: *she fixes her glasses* Ok now I'm gonna synch your Crystranceiver to the system so I can patch you in to the network. *she places the crystranceiver on a slot near a huge crystal, both the crystal and crystranceiver begin glowing brightly for a few seconds and then they subside. Lana takes the crystranceiver and hands it over to Reiva* Allright You're patched in to the network, all services are enabled, and you'll be able to call from anywhere around Aegis. *she smiles*
Reiva: *he takes the crystranceiver* Thanks, hey what do I do if it runs out of power? *he looks at her worried*
Lana: Dont worry, a crystranceiver's energy source is it's user's magical aura, it does have an auxiliary power source if it's not on you, but it's charged while it's in your possesion.
Reiva: Ok thanks Again Lana, now how much time do we have left... *he checks the crystranceiver's clock* AAAAHHHH!!! We only have 10 minutes left! Lets go Aldine!! *he runs off*
Aldine: Hey wait arent we going to pay her for her services!? *he looks at Reiva worried*
Lana: Oh dont worry it's on the house, it was an honor to just work on an Alpha series do run along. *she waves goodbye*
Aldine: Thanks miss. *he sighs and flies after Reiva* HEY WAIT FOR ME YOU OVERSIZED FURBALL!!!
Reiva: THEN HURRY UP YOU BAG OF SCALES!
Lana: *she giggles* What an odd pair.
Reiva runs out of the store Aldine flying after him as they head toward the train station, on their way they find themselves in front of a crowd of people gathered near a kiask by the train station called Ariff's traveling emporium. Reiva looks around and spots the station's wall.
Aldine: You're doing it arent you?
Reiva: Yup! *he aims at the wall with his hand a circle of light forms infront of it and a beam of light blue light is fired at the wall freezing a path across it's length*
Aldine: You're getting better at that one.
Reiva quickly jumps and kicks off the wall behind him he lands feet first on the ice covered wall and he stands, he then starts running on the wall until he reaches the end and jumps off heading into the Station Aldine flying behind him.
Young man: Oh you're ba-
Reiva: *slams the 200 gold and places the crystranceiver on the counter panting heavily* A ticket to Autros...

The trainmen calls for the remaining passengers to board the train before it leaves the station, Reiva runs towards the entrance but the trainmen stops him.
Trainmen: Stop sir.
Reiva: Hu? What's wrong? *he looks at the trainmen panting lightly*
Trainmen: Weapons are to be put away inside cases or bagpacks, for the safety of other passengers.
Reiva: Ok I understand. *he unhinges Wolves fang from the magnetic clip along as removing wolves howl from it's holster and places them both inside his bagpack* Should that be all?
Trainmen: Crystranceiver please.
Reiva hands the Trainmen his crystranceiver, the trainmen then scans it with his own crystranceiver and hands it back.
Traimen: Allright you are free to board. *he steps aside*
Reiva: Thanks. *he boards the train*
Aldine: Damn it I wanted to sleep in the bag pack the entire trip... *he lowers his head*
Reiva: Well guess you'll be sleeping somewhere else. *he chuckles* Besides it's a 4 hour trip.
Aldine: 4 HOURS!? *he sighs* The capital is very far away then.
Reiva: Yeah makes it difficult for communication sometimes. *he stops at a cubicle a slides the door open* This will be our cubicle until we arrive. *he enters and sits on the left side near the window setting his bagpack in the other seat, Aldine laying besides him*
The train whistle is heard thruout the station as the train begins to move forward, Reiva watches thru the window as the train slowly leaves the station, he slowly waves goodbye to the snow covered land he calls home. After an hour of travel Reiva sits back and sighs as his stomach growls he checks his wallet to see how much money he has left.
Aldine: Hungry hu? *he lifts his head and looks at Reiva*
Reiva: Yeah. *he looks at Aldine*
Aldine: Me to, how much money do we have left?
Reiva: 15 gold... *he sighs* Is enough for a snack... Lets go to the dinning cart and buy a snack. *he gets up Aldine climbing on to his shoulder, he exits the cubicle and heads to the next cart where the diner is located*

Reiva sits down at a table Aldine sitting on the table looking at Reiva, Reiva splits the raspberry tart he bought in half and gave the other half to Aldine. As soon as Reiva was going to take a bite a woman with blonde hair, blue eyes, and wearing a white and blue dress approaches him.
?????: Excuse me sir may I and my daughter sit with you? The other tables are full... *she looks at him*
Reiva: I dont mind you may sit here if you like. *he smiles gesturing to the seat in front of him* I'm Reiva and the white cat sized bag of scales with his face full of raspberry tart is Aldine.
Aldine: *looks at the woman and her daughter his snout smeared with raspberry jelly* Hi...
Clara: I'm Clara and this is my daughter Cecile. *she smiles as her daughter aproaches, a 6 year old girl with blonde hair, green eyes, and wearing a pink knee high skirt dress*
Cecile: Hi! *she smiles warmly as she looks at Reiva with curiosity* Look mommy those ears and tail, his one of those doggy people!
Clara: Now now sweetie they're called Wolf gars, now I dont think Mr. Reiva is on-
Reiva: I am. *he smiles* I just prefer this form.
Clara: I'm so sorry I didnt mean to...
Reiva: It's fine dont worry about it. *he smiles*
Cecile: *she pulls on his coat* Mr. Doggy man, can I touch your ears?
Reiva: Ummm...
Cecile: PLease~ *she looks at him with puppy eyes*
Reiva: Sure just... dont tug on my ears. *he lowers his head*
Cecile: *she reaches for his ears and softly touches them* So soft, and fluffy! *she smiles rubbing Reiva's ears*
Clara: Ok sweetie that's enough~ *she smiles*
Cecile: Awww ok mommy. *she lets go of Reiva's ears and sits besides him*
Clara: Sorry about that, she's just a very curious girl, what's a mother to do? *she smiles*
Reiva: Dont worry, she reminds me of me when I was a pup. Always curious and wanting to explore the world. *he smiles and pets her hair as Cecile giggles*
Aldine: If you ask me she's to curious you should con- ACK! *gets knocked outside the head by Reiva*
Reiva: Aldine manners! *glares at him* Sorry about that, he tends to be a bit loose with his tongue. *he smiles*
Clara: Is Allright. *she smiles*
The door behind them opens as 2 Wolf gars and a Tauren enter the diner, the black furred Wolf gar looks towards the Table Reiva and the others are and smiles.
Leader: Grab the little girl! *he gestures to Cecile*
Wolf gar: You got it boss! *he walks towards the table*
Aldine: *sniffs the air and looks back growling* REIVA GRAB CECILE!!!
Reiva's eyes widden, hiss ears tuck back as he grabs Cecile and jumps off the seat Aldine flying after him, he sets Cecile behind him, and looks back as Clara gets off the seat only to be grabbed by the leader.
Leader: We might have missed the girl but we got the mother. *he smiles showing his sharp canines to her* Boy she's pretty. *he holds Clara close to him putting a dagger by her neck* Now listen up everyone, unless you want this fine hussie's blood to paint the floor, you'll surrender your money, and or valueables to us! GOT IT!? Hehehe but I might have my fun with her first~ *he licks her cheek, Clara screams in fear and disgust*
Reiva: LET HER GO!!! *he glares at the black furred wolf gar growling, his human nose scrunched up in anger as he growls* NOW!!!
Aldine looks to a near by glass of water and notices the water is starting to freeze from Reiva's escalating anger.
Aldine: Reiva! Remember what the old man said, anger will do you no good! Calm down!
Reiva reacts to Aldine's words and looks back at Cecile, he closses his eyes, takes a deep breath and calms down. He opens his eyes and glares at the crooks, Aldine senssing Reiva is calm smiles.
Leader: *he laughs* Oh I'm so scared! Look boys we got a ourselves hero!
The other two laugh and look at Reiva.
Tauren: He thinks he has a chance! *he snorts* I feel bad for the pup.
Wolf Gar: Why dont you tuck your tail in between your legs and run off, unless you want me to teach you to step aside from your alphas. *he cracks his knuckles*
Reiva: Aldine look out for Cecile. *he gets up and walks towards them garbbing an old lady's Frilly pink parasol* I'll be borrowing this maam.
Aldine: What are you gonna do? *he looks at Reiva*
Reiva: I'm going to teach them not to mess with other people's family. *he points the parasol to the crooks* This is my last warning Let. Her. Go! *he glares at them*
Leader: *he snorts and starts laughing* The heck!? Now I know you're retarded! Fighting with a parasol!? Now I know I've seen everything! *he clears his throat and holds the dagger closer to Clara's neck* Dream on pup! BOYS TEACH HIM A LESSON!!
The wolf gar pulls out a shortsword, and smiles. The tauren pops his neck and pounds his fist together while smiling. The passengers in the cart quickly run out from the cart in fear.
Wolf gar: This is your final stop PUP! *he dashes towards Reiva only for Reiva to block his blade with the parasol as if it were a sword* WHAT!?
Reiva looks at the wolf gar with pity, suddenly he pushes him back and thrust the parasol forward hitting the wolf gar in the chest with the spike making him loose his breath and fall on his butt as he struggles to take a breath, Reiva smiles and opens the parasol resting it on his shoulders as he looks at them.
Tauren: You're pathetic if he knocked you down with a parasol. *he craks his knuckles* Watch me beat this idiot to a bloody pulp! *he runs towards Reiva and throws the first punch, Reiva thrust the opened parasol forward and blocks his first attack* The hell!? you bastard!!
The Tauren attacks again only for Reiva to twirl the oppened parasol and continuously block his attacks, after the last punch Reiva sweeps the Tauren's legs making him fall on his back.
Leader: You two are useless!! GET UP!
Reiva: I'll say it one more time. Let her go. *he glares at the leader*
Tauren: *gets up snorting angrily* YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT!!!
The Tauren runs towards Reiva and punches at him, Reiva blocks with the parasol, but the Tauren grabs the edge of the parasol.
Tauren: NOW GET THE GIRL!!!
The Wolf gar runs past Reiva and straight to Cecile.
Reiva: Damn it! *he thrust the parasol forward as it closses hitting the tauren in the throat then he turns and kicks him in the stomach knocking him on his back* ALDINE!!!
Aldine: Just give the word! *he looks at Reiva as he stands in front of Cecile*
Leader: *widdens eyes* GET OUT OF THERE HE AND THAT DRAGON BEAST HAVE A PACT!!!
Reiva: *he aims his left hand towards Aldine and it starts glowing* ICECICLE BLAST!!
Aldine's body glows brightly the fur on his back standing on end he growls, then he roars and unleashes a barrage of icecicles continuously hitting the wolf gar pushing him back on to the floor.
Reiva: *his hand glows again* Aldine you're allowed to release 30% of your strength!
Aldine: *his body glows as he grows in size until he is 3 1/2 feet tall and 5 1/2 feet long* Thought you'd never ask!
Reiva: Get Cecile out of here! *he turns and blocks the tauren's punch with the closed Parasol* NOW!
Aldine: Got it! *he kneels down keeping his wings folded* Get on. *Cecile looks at him scared, then she looks at her mom* Your mother will be ok trust me! *she nods and gets on his back, he stands up on all fours and runs towards the others* Now hold on!
Aldine runs past Reiva and the tauren, as soon as he approaches the Leader he roars unleashing a small barrage of weak icecicles causing the leader to move to the side.
Leader: The hell!!!?
Aldine: *runs right passed him* FOOL!! *runs down the hall until he reaches the cubicle he and Reiva were in, he lays down and Cecile gets off him* Now stay here you'll be safe. *he turns to the seat where Reiva set his bag pack*
Cecile: D-dont go! *she grabs on to him crying* I'm scared! I want my mommy!
Aldine: It's allright. *he looks at her licking away her tears and smiles* Reiva will save her, I just need to take his sword back to him, he wont be able to fend them off for long without it. *he smiles* Besides, that furball will get himself in trouble if I'm not there to save his hide.
Cecile: *she nods slowly and moves back* O-ok...
Aldine grabs Reiva's bag pack with his mouth and runs back the the diner cart. as soon as he arrives he sees as Reiva has been disarmed by the Tauren and Wolf gar.
Wolf gar: No more cheap tricks now you die!!! *he lunges at Reiva with his shortsword in hand*
Aldine quickly notices Reiva claps his hands together the space between both hands begins to glow heavily as electricity crackles thru his hands.
Aldine: *thinks/Dont tell me he's gonna do it!? HERE!?*
Reiva crouches and slams both hands on the floor of the cart, ice moves forward from Reivas hands at high speed and encases both the Wolf gar and tauren in ice leaving only their heads exposed. Reiva exhales releasing a puff of mist from the low temperature he just created, he gets up and walks passed the two crooks and heads towards the black furred wolf gar.
Leader: STOP!! If you get any closer I'll slit her pretty little throat!! *he presses the knife on Clara's neck drawing a bit of blood*
Aldine: *he growls* *muffled* REIVA!!!
Reiva: Hmm? *he looks at Aldine*
Aldine: *muffled* Take it!! *he throws the bag pack towards Reiva*
Reiva catches the bag pack and reaches into it and pulls out Wolves fang, the sword fully extends, he looks at Aldine and nods.
Reiva: ALDINE NOW!!
Aldine growls loudly, the black furred wolf gar looks back as he notices the white dragon growling at him, suddenly Aldine roars and fires two icecicles toward him, the black furred wolf gar moves again dodging the icecicles, but he looses his grip on Clara and she elbows his left side and steps on his right foot and runs towards Reiva.
Leader: AAAAHHH! YOU BITCH!! *he runs after her and swings his dagger*
A loud metalic clash is heard, the black furred wolf gar looks in surprise as Reiva blocked his attack with the broad side of his greatsword, suddenly Reiva grips the hilt with both hands and swings his sword pushing the wolf gar back his dagger flying off his hand and falling pinned on a table, Reiva walks towards him his glare relentless and his ears pinned agaisnt his head in anger.
Leader: W-wait w-we can talk this out! *he waves his hands in front of himself his tail tucked between his legs, he suddenly makes a run for it right passed Reiva and runs towards the door only for Reiva to throw his sword causing the greatsword to crash into the wall and freeze the door shut* What the!?
Reiva stands there, then he starts walking towards him both his fist clenched.
Leader: Stop... Right there! Or I'll use this!!! *he grabs onto the hilt of Reiva's sword and pulls on it unable to remove it from the wall*
Reiva: If you're going to pull the sword out just press the trigger at the base of the hilt. *he glares at him*
The wolf gar holds on to the hilt with both hands and presses the trigger causing the hidden point at the end of the blade to shoot out causing the sword to eject from the wall with force hitting him in the stomach knocking the breath out of him and knocking him out.
Reiva: *he kneels besides him and picks up his sword* You deserve that. *he looks at Clara* Clara are you ok?
Clara: *she nods* I am just a little scratch... And you?
Reiva: I'm fine just a little pissed.
A trainmen enters the cart and looks at the mess.
Trainmen: Is everyone ok!
Reiva: Yes... Where the heck were you? *he looks at the trainmen*
Trainmen: We had to make sure the passengers were safe. *he looks at the crooks* Did you do all this?
Reiva: Yes, sorry about the mess. *he looks at the mess*
*************
At the station the guards take the three crooks in. one of the guards speaks to Reiva.
Guard: We've been trying to catch these bastards for months, thank you for your assistance. We had a reward for their capture so it's yours. *he gives Reiva a bag with 500,000 Gold inside*
Reiva: Thanks. *he smiles taking the bag of Gold*
The guard salutes and walks away, Clara and Cecile aproach Reiva.
Clara: Thank you both for everything, you kept my daughter safe and saved my life. I wish I knew how to pay you back.
Reiva: Just knowing you're both ok is enough. *he smiles*
Clara: *she hugs Reiva tightly sobbing* Thank you... for saving me and my daughter.
Reiva: You're welcome. *he hugs back*
Cecile: *she hugs Aldine tightly* Thank you dragon.
Aldine: Is no problem little girl. *he smiles*

Reiva and Aldine say goodbye to Clara and Cecile and walk out of the train station, they stare in awe at the huge and lighted city of Autros.
Reiva: So this is the capital. *he smiles* It's amazing
Aldine: Indeed it is. *he looks around*
Reiva: Allright Aldine we should head out, we have much to do. *he walks into the streets* Also you should go back to your small size.
Aldine: I like it like this I dont feel tiny.
Reiva: Aldine you need to shrink or no more sleeping in my bag pack.
Aldine: Damn you, you drive a hard bargain.
