Introducing... Shire Tuck!
Work hard, eat harder. That's Tuck's motto in life, and it's served him well. Or at least it did for the majority of his life. This big, strong shire horse knows how to make himself useful, but his usefulness comes at a price; give him all the fruits and greens he can eat, and maybe he will offer his services to you! This system was all well and good when he worked on a little farm in the rural areas of Nottinghamshire, but one day was sold on to a quaint horse-and-cart company. Tuck was initially distressed at being relocated, but his new humans seemed nice enough. Until it was time for him to pull his first cart. Tuck waited and waited but his humans weren't bringing him his food, and yet this was how things always worked at his old place. Apparently, the system here was to reward horses after they'd done their shift, but Tuck liked to be paid up front and that wasn't about to change. Tuck is big and stubborn, and so it was easy for him to get his way. At first. Over time, the humans realised that this horse wasn't going to give in to them, and they'd have to up their game. That was when, to Tuck's horror, they first brought out the whip.
Tuck is usually a docile creature, but after being physically abused too many times he kicked up a temper in order to defend himself. As punishment, he was locked up in the shed until the humans could decide what their next step would be with him. After being trapped for five whole minutes, Tuck was moaning that he was starving to death. Fortunately for him, Robin heard his cries and picked the shed lock with his claw. Tuck had been loyal to humans up until this point, but this time he took Robin up on his offer to follow him to his hideout in Sherwood Forest. Tuck is the fourth and newest stray to join Robin, and he sees that no other animal is assaulted the way he was. He is a peace-loving shire horse who prefers non-violent solutions to conflicts, but will fight when absolutely necessary. His enormous strength comes in handy not only in combat, but also when transporting items and injured creatures. Most important of all, though, living in a forest means unlimited greens to graze on.

Early character concept for "Robin and the Strays of Sherwood". Backstories and basic personalities are pretty much there, but the characters' aesthetic designs may still change and their personalities will develop over time.
