From what I recall (I hope I tell this right), Lazarus is  mrlabrador's distant ancestor, and exorcist who leapt off the deep end after his beloved was tried and burned as a witch. He was sealed away for a time, and after a long, tense period at odds with Labby, came to his senses. Still cold from his loss, he's gone back to his old calling with a ruthless efficiency.

Lazarus is sort of a Glass Cannon. His HP is Low on one end, VERY low on another. (14 is the lowest I've ever seen on a legal card, and only once!) As an exorcist, the disruption of his targets is his stock in trade, hence the ability that applies only to Death and Evil characters on the left, the Breaker ability, and being able to dangerously empower his attacks in dire straits on the right. Mind his low life and make use of his large hand size. Lazarus is meant for short, fast battles, and his decks should be built to end the fight quickly.
