always time for a nice bit of early afternoon sit down,
bits of shade here and there,
and some cookies and your favorite liquid.
another place inspired by using as a plan view a design that hadn't started out intended to be one.

Let me know if you ever want to put up a selection from your works on my site. I have fallen to 8,000 views a month, and most of those are out of France. Your work is unique, and I find your vision refreshing. Naturally, all credit and rights belong to you. I have done this for about five artists on FA, some have gotten thousands of hits out of it and two were ignored. There is no rhyme or reason to the internet. Of course, my motives are selfish. The more fresh copy I get the more attention my site gets, for whatever that is worth.
feel free.
i make these things really for no other reason then for people to see and the gratification it gives me to make them.
i would love anything that will get them out there for more people to see.
because i want to give people these kind of ideas to consider.
and i can put pictures together better then i can words.

well i can tell you there's another artist who i was inspired to make structures out of her pattern shapes who was an enthusiast of the anime in question.
briefly it involved a bunch of kids who discovered and found their way into a kind of mothballed lab with a fully functional super computer, in/on which ran an a.i. world, and they got involves with the personalities and situations in that world.
my 'village of happy mandalas' is based on their drawing of mandalas they called 'happy'.
this image is built on another artist's design for a book cover, again using it as a plan view to build the structure on top of.
i like to take a pattern of lines, and then build as if they represented the shape of walls.
though sometimes i also do this with simple geometric shapes.
much of the architecture that inspired me in the 60s and 70s had these kinds of designs resulting from the sometimes complex intersections of otherwise relatively simple organic and/or geometric shapes.
