I mean, sure you can take a nap on the Beach on the Sand or something like that but i guess a Prince, or in this Case Princess, just needs something more comfiy with a little bit of fur on it to really enjoy that kind of thing. And since Thirash is with Becky on the Beach, why not just sleep there a its y bitsy little bit?! Just dont tell it to her otherwise she will probably get a bit angry about all that. =D
